of ploidity ratio

I wrote this in a report:

though there are sample(s) that was mentioned as female but having a 1:1 ratio for chromosome X to Y ploidity, in such cases it is best to check the last digit of their IC or records in plastic surgery hospitals

Cracked some smiles and few bursts of laughter by fellow biologist and bioinformaticians. Totally made my day.

PJ Dawn Half Marathon 2012

3 am run. Totally not used to it. Usually I’d still be people watching / ordering the next drink / heading to mamak for post supper / moving on to next spot. No blisters / knee problems (loving my minimus) but the calf muscles on the other hand (or leg) did get worked on (still sore). On the heating problem, I guess it’s due from not enough rest + over consumptions of muttons + me being self conscious wearing tight clothings (<- though that got thrown out in the last mile ).

Overall, I’m still not conditioned to running early in the morning. Maybe I should get mp3 player and fill it up with LapSap or something.

Yes, I am still wondering why I put myself through it when I can be with friends and vegetate the next day. Though I did vegetate after the run, minus the I love-hate episode with the toilet bowl.

After PJ Dawn half marathon. It was good, used it to test on clothing and 2nd long distance run with Minimus Zero. Timing wise, was ok lah, 2:21. The body was heating up very fast, had to ice myself everytime I passed the drink station. Important lessons; 1. Don’t wear double layer. 2. Must change run form 3. Work on core.
